Sunday... A powerful Sunday!

We had to be at church early this morning for Erin to practice with the Dance Troupe. The kids did a great job performing in front of the congregation and truly touched my heart!

Today our music pastor (Mike) stood in the gap at the alter for prayer for the praise team, musicians and choir. He is such an anointed man of God and I am humbly grateful to be under his leadership in the music ministry. I know he desires for us to go to another level spiritually and musically. I am so excited about all the Lord is doing through our church and how he is touching and changing lives. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful ministry.

Tonight we had our "Faith Builders" monthly conference and Rhonda H. spoke. She gave a powerful message on how we should live our daily lives as Christians. The words the Lord spoke through her ministered to me. She was so right, we should make time for the Lord DAILY.. we should put Him first (before our work, our cleaning, our activities, and yes even before our spouses and children - for when we put Him first....every thing else will fall into place). We truly do have time for him, like she said...you can pray and talk to God in your car, at your desk, and even in the bathtub. We must also take take to study His Word DAILY! His Word is our daily bread and without it we will go hungry!
