Just a break ... not goodbye.

I have decided to take a temporary break from blogging.

I originally started blogging to share my life back home with Jason during his deployment, but since Jason and I talk daily via phone or web cam he doesn't even look at my blog at all. I truly enjoyed blogging and all the wonderful people I have met through my blog. I have enjoyed the fun of creating the blog and changing up the template, as it has helped pass the time and the loneliness I have felt with Jason being gone.

This blog has been a personal journal for me, but because it is not anonymous and many people I know personally read my blog I can't really always say everything I feel (about my life, my marriage, my feelings, etc). So although I admit I do wine and complain and cry some, I don't always share everything I am feeling, just because I don't want everyone to know my personal business. There are people who read my blog who know me personally who also email and call me and that is great, as many of them I do share things with, but there are people I know personally who read my blog and never contact me at all (they have no interest in my life besides my blog and knowing my business). For some reason all of the sudden I feel like I need to be private.... that my life is my life, its private and I don't want to be obligated to share it with the world. I have a lot of feelings and things going on in my life right now that I just don't feel up to sharing... and I don't want to just blog when my heart is not in it. I hope you all understand.

I am not saying I am saying goodbye, but I am taking a break.. I will blog from time to time, but not daily and maybe not even weekly. So check back in from time to time... You can leave comments too as they go straight to my email. Or if you wish you can email me at lifebackhome@bellsouth.net (which goes to my personal email which I check daily) or bloglifebackhome@yahoo.com (which I check about weekly).

His visit home....(WITH PICTURES - below)

Jason arrived home on Wednesday Dec 21, 2005 for a TWO WEEK visit. His mother picked him up from the airport and the kids and I sat anxiously awaiting him at home. It was a little after 6 pm and he called from his mom's cell phone to let us know they had gotten on the interstate heading this way. Hayden had fallen asleep on the couch, however the girls and I jumped to our feet when we heard the car pull up. He walked in the door and was greeted with hugs and kisses. It felt so good to be in his arms holding him close. After a brief reuniting with me and the girls, he walks over to the couch where Hayden was sleeping. He sits down beside him and starts to talk to Hayden. Hayden opens his eyes and smiles big at his daddy, but looks at him and starts to rub his eyes.. he looks again and then again rubs his eyes (as if he wasn't sure if what he was seeing was real or if he was dreaming)... when he realized his daddy was sitting in front of him, he jumps up into Jason's arm and gives him a big hug.

Jason's visit home was great... he is such a family man and loves to spend time with me and the kids. We had a VERY BUSY two weeks. Below I have posted some pictures of many things we did while Jason was here. I will put captions below the photos to explain each one.

Jason has since gone back to Germany to finish out his deployment. He should be home in June 2006.
